This monograph was published on the occasion of Cildo Meireles’ restrospective at Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Strasbourg. It contains several essais as well as comprehensive illustrated notices of the artist’s works.

Although they do not contain illustrations, except for the notices, the translations are treated with equal importance as the French language part.

The dust jacket is made from printing sheets of an artist’s book that was reprinted on the occasion of the exhibition as part of an installation. These printing sheets, a part of the artitst’s work, were silk screened over and folded to constitute the dust jacket. The same screen as for the dust jacket was used to print the cover. The book is entirely set in Helvetica Light.
